This policy explains how WEESOUND collects, uses, and retains customer and order information when you use weesound.com to generate an FxSound game-audio preset.

Information we collect

  • The headphone brand and model you enter (sent to our server to match a frequency-response curve) and the game preset you select.
  • Microphone audio captured in your browser to build the preset on your device. We do not store that recording as account data.
  • A coupon code, if you redeem one, so we can unlock the download.
  • A download history saved in your browser’s localStorage: headphone name, file name, preset contents, download code, and time.
  • Messages you send to weesound@163.com.
  • On the production site, Baidu Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which collect visit and device information.

Orders and payment

Checkout on the English site is hosted by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), the merchant of record. Creem collects your name, email address, billing address, payment method, and order details on its checkout page. Card numbers are entered on Creem’s page, not on weesound.com.

After payment, we receive and store the order ID, customer email, amount, currency, payment status, product, and a download code. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

We use this information to match a headphone curve, generate and deliver the .fac file, confirm payment, block downloads that have not been paid for, and check an order or refund request when you email us. We do not sell customer or order information.

How long we keep it

  • Order records we store (order ID, amount, currency, payment status, download code, and the customer email received from Creem) are kept for 24 months so we can deliver the file, check the 7-day refund window, and handle payment disputes. We keep them longer while a dispute or a legal duty is open, then delete or de-identify them.
  • The download history in your browser stays on your device until you clear it.
  • Email weesound@163.com to ask what order record we hold or to ask us to delete it, except where an open dispute or the law requires us to keep it. Requests about payment details held by Creem can also be sent to Creem.
